Program Director
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of young women and girls? Are you looking to develop a career in recreation and social services? The Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council, an organization focused on building courage, confidence, and character, is looking for the ideal candidate to fill our Program Director position for our upcoming camp season at Skyland Ranch and Azalea Trails in Southern California. This is a rewarding temporary position consisting of 45 working days. It pays a competitive wage and provides workers' compensation, health and accident insurance, and room and board.

A Day in the Life as a Program Director
As our Program Director, you oversee all aspects of the camp program. You awake each day ready to make a positive difference in the lives of our camp participants. You ensure that all program areas are implementing activities that address the needs and interests of campers - including appropriate badge work. You will direct and participate in the opening and closing of the camp. Your presence is profound and you will be onsite at all times including eating and sleeping at camp. You will supervise program staff and conduct necessary weekly meetings with all program leaders. In addition you will perform work reviews of all staff and ensure that all facilities and equipment are working at an optimal level. You will lead the camp's level of success. You love that you get to be involved in such a variety of tasks and get great satisfaction out of making a positive impact in the lives of those you serve.
